This is a facial image of Goddess Durga - made on the occassion of Navratri & Dusshera (Indian festivals). Varied colors have been used in the crown to add vibrancy to the creation!

Inspired to do Paper Quilling

The way August Rush movie states "The music is all around us, all you have to do is listen," I have come to believe that in every frame of life there is inspiration. Inspiration to create, to innovate and to vent your deep set thoughts through some form of art. I consider myself to be lingering on the border between being pragmatic and being a dreamer. Being who I am, something that I thoroughly enjoy is Paper Quilling. I look for inspirations all around me, and find some very interesting ones too!

This blog is a medium of self expression and sharing some of my work with a larger audience. Below is a small little reflection of my inner being - created completely based on the spark that ignited in my mind.

Paper Quilling just happened to me - working as a volunteer in a kids' art workshop over a weekend some 3.5 years back, introduced me to this concept. There has been no stopping since.

This is my first post on the Blog, will be sharing more work done in subsequent blogs.
